Project managers may want to learn about the WordPress content management system for their next project. This system, (while is used by Practical PM Journal), started as a blog site but has evolved to include many features. Since the system is designed to store information in categories, it is fully capable of organizing the various documentation files that are produced during a project. Imagine a WordPress site that has categories for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling and closing. These, of course, are the standard project phases that are documented in the Project Management Body of Knowledge.A new project development effort, sponsored by Practical PM Journal, will be initiated using WordPress as the main documentation repository. Details will be made available on this web site.
